The right stuff - at the right time.

Our standard turf care program includes eight applications throughout the year providing our customers’ lawns with the “right stuff at the right time”. These core services provide appropriate fertilization and weed control. We offer free service calls between our scheduled visits to address any concerns a customer may have. We do not require a contract as we believe if we are doing our job correctly, our customers want us to continue coming back!

In addition to our standard program we offer customized programs depending on soil and turf type as well as customer input. Additional services include summer lawn disease control and lawn aeration and overseeding. Our service is a partnership with you: you provide regular mowing and watering, and we do the rest! Standard Turf Treatment Program

Our standard turf care program includes the following applications providing your lawn with the “right stuff at the right time”.

February:

Calcium & Lime: We will apply clean, pelletized calcium & lime at a rate to improve and balance the pH of the soil. We will use a combo product that is more effective that lime alone!

March:

1st Crabgrass Pre-Emergent and Broadleaf Weed Control: We will apply an application of the former and spray for all actively growing broadleaf weeds. The pre-emergent will block the germination of crabgrass for six to eight weeks.

April:

Spring Fertilizer: We will apply a moderate release liquid fertilizer that is designed to cure nutrient deficiencies in the turfgrass. We also will treat for actively growing broadleaf weeds.

May:

2nd Crabgrass Pre-Emergent and Broadleaf Weed Control: We will apply a second application of the former at a rate to extend control over the development of crabgrass through the summer. In addition we will spray any weeds found.

July:

Weed Control: We will specifically treat any weeds found. This application will include specific herbicides for the control of Nutsedge, Buttonweed, and other summer weeds for which there are no pre-emergent controls.

August:

High nitrogen, slow release fertilizer: We will apply a dry application for green color and top leaf growth we will also treat for any actively growing broadleaf weeds.
